Lucy Lipschitz
Performing and writing about all styles of belly dance since 1997, as a way to recover from having been raped as a young woman. Lucy has worked on bringing respect for this dance, and healing through this dance to her students, audiences, and readers. She also sponsors workshops and shows in Tucson, some of them non-belly dance related; and is known internationally for her teaching style and her e letter, ASTARTE. Lucy’s latest project is to bring the International Peace Belt to Tucson in late October.
