Kyria
Kyria discovered belly dance over a decade ago and fell in love with the music and the art of Middle-Eastern dance. She is a passionate teacher and performer, continuously learning from teachers in the Netherlands and abroad. She teaches classical Egyptian and modern style belly dance, focusing on the connection between the music and the dancer. Besides belly dance she also works with gothic fusion and tribal fusion concepts on local gothic events.
She started a Dutch website with information on belly dance for Dutch dancers, located at www.allesoverbuikdansen.nl. Promoting communication and interaction among dancers is one of her long term goals. In an effort to reach this goal, she writes articles for belly dance magazines, publishes information on her website and cooperates with other dancers.
