Brandon F Johnson
Brandon F Johnson has been personally involved with Middle Eastern dances, primarily as a DVD and music collector, celebrating the 20th ''anniversary'' of the 1st (then VHS) tape he bought back in 1991.
He is the creator of Brandon's Oasis, a website that follows bellydance happenings in the D.C. area/Baltimore/Northern Virginia, as well as followings of bellydancers now expanded throughout the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.A, which in 2011 is celebrating it's ''BellyDecade''.
For many years, he has also written many articles on the bellydance shows and recitals, featuring both local and international bellydancers and artists and has been humbled to have such a positive following on the web of those who shares the love and passions for this art form.
Brandon is born and raised in Washington, D.C. and dedicates this article to all of the talented bellydancers and organizations in the D.C. area, who in the past 20 years has made this area one of the best and enriched bellydance communities, not only in the nation but in the world.
