The Gilded Serpent presents...
Erin
Erin has been dancing since 1997, when she began classes with Lynette of Gilded Serpent. During her California days, she also studied with Azar. Since moving back home to Louisiana in 2001, she has danced with local Shreveport bellydancers at the Port Belly Project.
She has also participated in a Suzanna del Vecchio dance retreat, as well as workshops by Jasmin Jahal (courtesy of Little Egypt in Dallas), Desdemona, and most recently, Suhaila Salimpour (courtesy of Diva Dance and Stacey Lizette).
She currently teaches beginner belly dance at Sandy's Dance Studio. Sandy's studio is located just a few miles from a major Air Force Base. Despite potential backlash from a conservative community, Sandy has always proudly advertised bellydance and Middle Eastern dance classes alongside her ballroom and line dance offerings. Many thanks to her and all the wonderful women who have helped each other learn to dance, to improve and to live life to its fullest!
