The Gilded Serpent presents...

Wendy Meluch

Wendy Meluch launched her belly dance career in San Francisco in 1985, where she studied at Magana Baptiste’s studio. She later studied with Asia, Shukriya, Sherry Briar and various workshop and festival instructors. Wendy has performed extensively as a soloist, in small groups and in troupes in a wide variety of public, private and festival venues. She has taught and directed many individuals and performing groups.

Wendy sees Belly Dance as a celebration of life for any and all body types; she uses it to share with women and girls the joy of movement and the lasting happiness that comes with having an accepting and loving body-self relationship. "Having a body should be fun, after all, where would you be without it?"

For almost as long as she’s been dancing, Wendy has been working with museums, zoos, historic houses, parks and gardens to help them create excellent visitor experiences. You can learn more about her busy consulting business at visitorstudies.com. Wendy is available as a speaker on dance, museums and related topics.
