Tamara aka Badriyya began studying Middle Eastern dance six years ago with Isis in Bedford, TX and is currently studying with Vashti of Dallas and Miabella of Fort Worth, TX. She is a member of the North Texas Middle Eastern Dance Association and on occasion contributes articles to their monthly publication The Papyrus. Tamara can often be seen dancing with the Middle Eastern percussion group DoumSmack.
