Lillian "Illiana" Lehman has been a dance student of Najia El-Mouzayen since 1969, and belly dance specifically, since approximately 1972. Illiana has remained an arte dansuse through the years, participating in many haflas and student recitals and showcases. She has traveled to Egypt with Najia on several occasions where they have taken great delight in visiting the camel market. Lillian the businesswoman was known to many people in the Kensington-Berkeley area of East San Francisco Bay as "Lillian's Budding Gifts". However, after a recent sale of that business, Lillian has become a full time sculptor and has sold many of her pieces. She holds regular studio open house sessions at her studio "Feet of Clay" located in El Cerrito, California.
Lillian is still performing at some private events locally and is highly regarded by other students and her instructor as a resourceful and creative practitioner of the arts including dance.
