The Gilded Serpent presents...

Courtney

Courtney is an award-winning bellydancer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Courtney uses her previous training in classical ballet as an influence and foundation for her study of Middle Eastern dance. She draws on master classes and private study with internationally renowned bellydance artists to further develop her elegant style. With a Bachlors of Arts in Music from Columbia College at Columbia University, Courtney is also a classically trained pianist, flutist and vocalist, lending natural musicality to every performance.

In addition to winning several awards at international competitions, Courtney was also a member of the cast of Season 2 of the popular internet based reality series Project Belly Dance. While she is an accomplished solo artist, Courtney also is a member of the award-winning troupe Khamsin, directed by Sandra, and award-winning duo Sassafras with her dance partner Lara.

Courtney offers group classes and private instruction in the South Bay and can be seen dancing regularly in local restaurants and night clubs.
