Charlotte
United Kingdom
Charlotte Desorgher is one of the top bellydance teachers in the United Kingdom. Her popular weekly classes in south London teach students from beginners through to advanced and professional dancers and she regularly teaches and performs at festivals and residential weekends in the UK and Europe.
In 2007 Charlotte founded Hipsinc, which is probably the largest bellydance school in the UK with over 800 students throughout the southeast enjoying a wide variety of bellydance classes plus great social and performance opportunities.
As well as teaching and running Hipsinc, Charlotte is well known for organising high profile events with some of the bellydance world's most famous international stars. She recently co-organised the International Bellydance Congress featuring the legendary Fifi Abdou.
Charlotte's dance style draws on her own background in ballet, jazz and contemporary dance and she is passionate about raising the level of bellydance training in the UK so that we can hold our head high on the international scene.
